History

Oceanside Corporation is the ANCSA (Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act) Village Corporation for the village of Perryville, Alaska. Oceanside Corporation was incorporated July 27, 1973 with approximately 130 original shareholders, and 238 shareholders in 2010. The corporate office for Oceanside is based in Perryville, Alaska. Oceanside is entitled to 92,160 arces of land surrounding Perryville, and has completed most of its conveyances.

Vision: Long term success for the Oceanside Corporation is embodied in its steady

economic growth and it is the long-term goal of Oceanside Corporation to contribute to economically to each shareholder. Oceanside Corporation will continue to grow its income producing assets to provide future dividends to shareholders, to provide non-cash benefits and to preserve, protect, and manage ownership of Corporation land in a manner that is consistent with cultural values.

Mission: Oceanside Corporation will strive to provide benefits to our shareholders through the pursuit of economic opportunities and growth of our assets while protecting the ownership of our lands and respecting our Native cultural heritage.

Our Business

Oceanside Corporation, under the terms of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, is charged with holding, investing, managing and/or distributing lands, property, funds, and other rights and assets for and on behalf of the native village of Perryville. The Corporation is certified as an SBA 8(a) Alaska Native Corporation, and is currently pursuing 8(a) contracting opportunities through its subsidiary, Three Star Enterprises, LLC. In addition, the Corporation manages its investment portfolios, issues scholarships to shareholders, and regulates access to its lands for non-shareholders via a user permit system.
